When you purchase drinks through Browns Vibe outside catering - all standard glassware is included along with staff to set up, pour and serve your drinks as necessary, You can purchase your wines etc by the bottle or take advantage of some of our great value drinks packages. Alternatively we can provide waiting staff to manage your own drinks. The initial bar set setup fee includes; table linen, bar equipment, chilling bins, ice and garnishes. Staff are then charged per person per hour. We can hire wine glasses for your event if not purchasing drinks through Browns Vibe.
As important as the food, drinks form an essential part of the menu. Champagne, cocktails, Childrens drinks and table water - They all need to be chilled & served in an appropriate vessel. Most clients choose to source their own alcoholic drinks and serve them freely and without charge through the day. We do not charge any corkage on drinks - our service price is included in the final quoted price. We are pleased to provide a totally flexible solution to your event drinks requirements, from fresh filter coffee to fine English teas. We can provide drinks fridges on the day before your wedding to ensure all beverages are at the correct temperature. If you want a cocktail waiter to make bespoke drinks for your guests, it can be arranged. Fresh mint Mojitos and Strawberry Daiquiris are wedding classics. We can provide all soft drinks to you on a sale or return basis along with a full bar service . Where possible we like to source the best of what is local. Like the Luscombe Lemonade, the Heron Valley Devonshire Cider, or our own Browns well water from the Hotels own springs for table water that is bottled at source in Tavistock. All empty bottles are taken away by us for recycling. We also proudly showcase our source of barreled beers for you to enjoy, tapped and racked by our staff.
Essentially, like making a fine sauce, cocktails need to be balanced. The skill is gaining that careful combination of sweetness, acidity and alcohol combined with the subtle aromas of fruits and liqueurs. When done well and at the right moment, a good cocktail can be sensational. As you can imagine we love our wine here at Brownsvibe and all too often we're spending far too much on delicious bottles. Being constantly on the look out for new exciting producers, talking to wine merchants and attend tastings we offer here a well-chosen list of great tasting wines marked at approachable prices. The wine & champagne list offers something for everyone, from the classic French regions of Bordeaux and Burgandy to the rather quirky and interesting wines of the Bekaa Valley in Lebanon, this is a chance to try something new. We offer a range from the more traditional and popular, to the more eccentric wines, so that all tastes are met and an experience is had.
Tailored to suit the needs of each client, every bar we provide is unique. The bars are set up using freestanding bars; there are a number of stylish bar fronts to choose from. We can also utilise existing bars or any available space. Bars can be set up to a suit a theme of an event or the decor of the venue. We are able to create individualized bar menus, from traditional bar set ups to cocktail and champagne bars. Whatever your requirements, our mobile bars will add style and an air of sophistication to any event.
